A002 – Gulls in Flight

This handmade abstract sculpture depicts a colony of gulls in flight and is designed for display on a flat surface. The gulls are sculpted from cut steel nails and mounted on a distressed railroad spike. Welding is done with steel and bronze. Neoprene covers prevent the spike feet from scarring the display surface.
